Life was a funny thing. All the right choices could lead you nowhere, and one wrong choice was all it took to leave you in the ground. It made you wonder what kind of choices you needed to make to get anywhere in life, or did it all boil down to who you knew instead? What you did? Chloe didn't know. Chloe didn't care at this point. Maybe she should have said 'fuck it' and just party more with friends growing up. Meet boys. Have sex with boys. Well, sex was kind of spoiled for her now. The whole raping thing. Last thing she wanted to think about was sex. Maybe she should think about more pressing matters, like... BEING BURIED ALIVE!
Chloe didn't know how she got down here. The last thing she remembered was being held down on a bed with a man forcing himself on top of her. Then she woke up here. Was she dead? She couldn't be dead. She was buried alive. That's it. She was buried alive. Oh, god, SHE WAS BURIED ALIVE! Chloe screamed, but no one heard her. Of course nobody heard her, no one had that good of hearing. Maybe Superwoman did. SUPERWOMAN HALP! Nothing. Nothing at all. Chloe didn't know what to do, so she did the only thing she could do. Bang the casket lid and scream.
Chloe was unaware of the power now flowing through her veins. Strength of a vampire. She wasn't aware that she technically wasn't breathing right now. Chloe wasn't even aware of the fangs in her mouth. She would be if she ever bit her lip again. Chloe managed to break through the casket's lid allowing dirt to fill her up. She climbed with all her strength and eventually broke her way to the top gasping for air. Air she no longer needed. She felt... different. Like she was somehow more connected with the earth than ever before. Chloe felt strong. Like she could pick up a statue and throw it across the cemetery. Cemetery? She was in a cemetery?! That bastard!
"Hey! Are you okay?"
What kind of question was that? Did she look okay? Chloe turned around to find an old man running towards her. He must have been the grave keeper or whatever. All Chloe saw were the veins along his neck. The blood pumping through them seducing her. A hunger grew in her stomach unlike anything she ever felt before. Chloe couldn't fight it. Chloe didn't want to fight it. Like an animal she latched onto the man and plunged her teeth into his neck. He screamed, and god did that turn her on. His back hit the ground hard and he begged. Chloe held him down with little effort as the blood touched her lips, going down her throat. There were no words to describe what she was feeling right now. It felt better than any other food or drink she ever had. This shit was better than sex. Not that she had any experiences to draw from except the rape. Enough about that. There was more than just the blood. Chloe saw flashes of a long life flying through her head as if she was living it. Dinner and a show, go figure.
Chloe pulled away after he was bled dry, blood dripping down her chin as she stood up. Chloe was a mess and didn't give a shit. That power she felt before only increased after the blood entered her system. No remorse followed the kill. She just looked a the body with a look of indifference. To her he was just food. No different to killing an animal and taking it home to eat. Good and evil didn't even register to the woman. Any sense of a moral compass long since shattered. Chloe only understood one thing right now. Hunger. And that man was nowhere close to filling her appetite. Chloe stepped over the man and began to walk forward, following her nose to the next scent. Chloe wouldn't bother to fight the hunger.
She would embrace it.
