A small portal opened up in Earth's atmosphere with a small space pod coming out of it. It started to descend into the Earth by its gravitational pull and caught on fire during entry. A few minutes later it would be seen over Kansa city landing into it forest area where it made a rather large crater. If anyone would go to see it they would find that the front is made of strong glass which showed what was in it. Inside was a teenage boy about 5 feet and four inches tall with his eyes closed. He was wearing a black jumpsuit with the house of Zod symbol on it located on his chest.

Zira came to the forest because it was far away from the city. Far away from the voices that screamed in her head. The incident back in town was bizarre even by her standards. She was happy to be out of the nut house, but after coming into contact with Gaia, Superwoman, and mother fucking zombies, she wondered if she was better off in the loony bin. That alone was enough to make her feel crazy.
The Firebird's thoughts were interrupted by the sight of something on fire in the air. Wasn't her. Zira only watched as it collided into the ground and left behind a fairly deep crater. Curious, she followed the path of destruction and slid down the crater looking at the ship to find the boy inside.
"What the fuck?"
Zira poked around on the ship. Not knowing what any of it does as she tried to find a way to open it.
"Hey! Can you hear me? Hello?"

The pod's door opened up automatically and let out some steam. It was a whole minute before Zod opened up his eyes slowly and looked around with his eyes. He held the pod with his hands boosting himself out of the pod. His eyes looked to the woman next to his pod and face her wearing his Jumpsuit. "Where....where am I?"

After clocking several hours of work into the Pit of Rebirth Raphael was beyond desperate for some fresh air, maybe a nice horseback ride? Despite the Risen Steed he rode being a nasty sight, and proving he'd never escape the wretched smell of his carrier. It was relaxing enough to Raphael... and then the sight of something tearing through the atmosphere to crash into the forest made it clear he hadn't quite escaped business. As always the presence of a Grimleal Cultist was bizarre. Raphael had changed into the mix of black fabric and set of jade green armor cobbled together for his alter-ego Prince Leoric. The armor's most notable feature was the thin breastplate with the pitch-black Mark of Grima painted upon it, and a pair of shoulder-pads matching the evil symbol. The gauntlets and greaves drew less attention, but at least put something between him and dismemberment. Now what really drew the eyes was the helmet he wore as the evil prince.... The upper half was modeled after a human skull, with a slight metallic shine to indicate actual armor. A medieval crown had been welded tot he helmet's brow, a thin golden affair set with ornamental (and not so obviously fake) emeralds. The skull lacked its natural lower jaw. Instead a bi-fractured jaw three times the size of a human's mouth rested where the rest of his mouth should be, dozens of razor sharp fangs providing a hellish underbite. Compared to this villain's costume the Risen escorting him seemed almost normal, if similarly medieval. A group of four cavalrymen armed with lances, with a sword to spare, hung close to their 'Prince' while a pair of plate-armored knights carrying kite shields and heavy maces brought up the rear. Leoric himself favored a lance as well, with a pair of spellbooks bound to his waist... and a staggering supply of javelins strapped to his horse. In the distance one could see and hear a fifth member of the Risen Cavalry riding off to report this sight to the nearest group of allies. Leoric made a mental note he needed to acquire a cell-phone. Either way the group continued toward the crash site, this should be interesting enough to be worth the trip. Prince Leoric and his Risen Cavalry kept a leisurely pace to avoid losing the Risen Knights... Leoric being well-aware that even with his powers he was cripplingly dependent on meat-shields. Now just a bit longer and they'd reach the crash site...

Zira recognized the jumpsuit and how similar the symbol was to Superwoman's.
You have to be kidding!
Before the Firebird could answer she detected the thoughts of someone else close by and could smell the foul stench of undead headed this way. Things were going from bad to worse in a heartbeat. She was never going to get any peace and quiet.
"I don't have time to explain right now. Someone is coming and we have to get out of here!"

Um...ok!"
Zod quickly agreed with the stranger and followed her. He didn't know anything about this planet at all so it was important to get someone who does. If she says that what ever was coming was bad then he should probably follow her.

With a few telepathic commands the group split up. The four Risen Cavaliers prompted their steeds into a gallop. Prince Leoric let them pull away as he hung back near the Risen Knights. Now the armored thugs were running as fast as the weight of their equipment permitted. A pincer attack would be ideal if the Cavaliers could out-pace the target... While waiting to see if the tireless horses could corner the target, Leoric casually flicked open the cover of the Arcwind tome on the left side of his belt.
Unlike Master Grima the Prince would rather question a target before getting stabby, but he really doubted they'd simply wait for a group of Risen to stroll up and start talking.

Zira ran, looking over her shoulder to make sure the man was still behind her as they navigated the forest. Why did they have to be here of all places? Why couldn't they have a base in the sewers or something? At least then they had something to mask the smell. Zira spotted a couple of bushes overhead and pointed to them.
"Over there!"
Zira jumped into the bushes and knelt down behind them, eyes peeking through to keep a look out for the Risen. Her hands ready to light up and start setting bitches on fire if they got too close. Both her arms and hands were blackened with burns thanks to the previous battle, but she couldn't focus on that right now. Or maybe she should use telekinesis? Avoid having a flaming zombies trying to eat her. She'll come up with something in the moment. Zira was good on her feet.

Zod did what the woman said and hid in the shrubbery. He knelt down so that his entire body was hidden in the bush next to her, but was left confused. Why were they hiding and who were they hiding from. He pecked his head up for a quick moment before going back into the bush.
"Why do we hide?"

It didn't take long after they hid for two of the Risen Cavaliers to ride dangerously close to the bush, but pass them by. The pair had been too hasty to give much consideration to the undergrowth.... this time. From the sound of hooves another pair was still some distance away.
Prince Leoric grew distracted with the crash site itself, stopping his rotten horse by the edge of the crater while his Knights caught up to him. The other eight Circles of Hell would freeze before Leoric could be called an authority on technology, but this didn't seem like something from NASA... and it was designed for a passenger, the real find was still somewhere around here. The Knights passed Leoric and kept heading toward the area the Cavaliers were searching.

"They're why," Zira said, motioning to the Risen Cavaliers that past them by. "I barely got away from these things the last time I fought them."
Zira looked through the bushes to see what looked like their leader going over the left behind alien ship. She didn't want to think about what they'd do with that. Though technology didn't seem like their strong suit. Chances were they wouldn't settle going back home empty handed.
"When the coast is clear we'll make another run for it."

Zod looked up and saw who she was referring to along with his men. They didn't seem like military officials because they didn't have uniforms on and looked more hostile. He watched as they walked pass them and over too his pod. Wait were the going to take his pod?! Ignoring what she said, Zod ran at superspeed and before anyone knew it he had his pod in his hands twenty feet away from the people who tried to take it.

Times like this, Leoric truly envied his Master's inhuman reflexes. The pair of Risen Knights had made it halfway around the crater, but came skidding to a stop as the evil prince gave a new order. You two, the alien is here! More interested in Zod than the pod... Energy surged in the open tome at Prince Leoric's waist.
The air in the area went from calm to a storm gale in nearly an instant. For the moment it stayed as a warning... The lower jaws on Prince Leoric's helmet well open, exposing his mouth to clearly speak. "Who are you, visitor from afar?" Leoric asked in a well-practiced, haughty monotone constructed to go with his false identity. He'd give negotiation a shot first... Even if the situation was almost certain to edge into combat.

Idiot!
Nobody ever listened to reason. Zira debated whether or not to help him. All he wanted was his ship, but then again the coast was clear. She could easily just take off undetected and find somewhere else to lay low for a while. Zira weighed the pros and cons and decided that the alien boy wasn't her responsibility. While they were busy doing whatever the fuck, the Firebird stood up and took off silently through the forest.

Zod sat his pod down next to him, but kept his guard up incase they try and take it from him again. "I am No-Zod of Krypton."
