Bane was impressed that Mayor Templar was able to penetrate his barrier. Man or not, that was no easy feat due to the power he put behind the technology after acquiring it. This forced Bane to step backwards getting his clothes and the edge of his skin cut by the long sword at his chest. Next thing he knew Kragen was on his back trying to wrap his arms around his neck, but Bane quickly reached behind himself and grabbed the Ex-Soldier by the head, tossing him like a rag doll into Drake.

Dracula stepped off to the side avoiding Kragen altogether and continued his assault, not caring one bit for the old man. That was what Sarah was employed for. With his blade already overhead, he brought it back down in another diagonal swing from shoulder to hem.

"From what I can tell you weren't exactly a looker before the scars. Slap some paint on there and you'll be fine," she joked.
Sarah patted Garrus on the shoulder and went to examine the rest of the precinct. The place was a mess, as one would expect after such a skirmish. She wondered what role the eighth man played in all of this as she could see no one else in the police station right now except for Garrus. Realizing how much of a morale killer the death of police were, Sarah decided to undo some of the structural damage to soften the blow as much as possible.
"Let that which is damaged be born anew, return to what was before the stroke of noon."
Facing the back of her hands to the area and waving them through the air, the tables and chairs returned to their proper upright positions, and the large hole in the wall of the chief's office repaired itself, as if someone pressed the rewind button on the destruction. If only bringing back people were this easy.
"There. Much better."

Kragen hit the ground rolling and came to a stop on his hands and knees. While rising to his feet, the Ex-Soldier unpinned a strap of stun grenades and threw them into the direction of Bane and Dracula. The quantity of the grenades being more than enough to take out someone Bane's size.

The smile was wiped off Gaia's face, and emerald green eyes widened in shock behind the goggles as the bullet entered her heart. Body falling limb against the cold hard ground as the battle between terrorist and mayor with a veteran third-wheel happened right in front of her. With her hand already against the ground, and with what little life she was holding onto, Gaia summoned the Earth's energies once again, this time using it to heal her body. Pushing the bullet out of her heart and repairing the damage done to it. While she had plenty of Earth around her, something like this would require time to finish properly. Time she may very well not have.

Satisfaction. That was the emotion running through Sincara as she watched Gaia's body fall limp against the ground. Breathing slowing down. The blood on her hands. That which came from taking life. There was a certain rush to it. An addictive flavor. She could see why a person would become hook to this rushing sensation. Sincara remained on the rooftop, her gun lowered to her side as she watched Gaia's corpse. Unaware that even now the alleged superhero was clinging to life, doing everything in her power to stay alive. In Sincara's world nothing could survive a .357 magnum to the heart. But we didn't live in Sincara's world, did we?

Garrus chuckled, and then that pain Sarah kept away came rushing back with a vengeance prompting him to hold onto his damaged jaw. Garrus Vakarian D-don't make me laugh. Garrus picked himself up and recollected his weapons. Repairing his shields before leaving the hallway to find Sarah fixing the room with more magic. Garrus Vakarian You aren't human, are you? The sound of gunfire and grenades going off outside directed Garrus' attention to the entrance. He didn't wait for an answer as he hurried outside to see a wounded Gaia on the ground. The turian ran over to her and got down on one knee to check on her, spotting the bullet wound on her back to where he knew the human heart was. Garrus Vakarian Dear god! Not aware Gaia was already healing herself, Garrus took the woman onto his back and ran back inside the police station to get away from the fighting. He laid Gaia down on one of the tables and looked to Sarah. Garrus Vakarian Can you save her?

Drake never slowed down an inch, and neither did Bane. With his left hand, Bane pushed against the flat end of the blade as it was coming down to move it to the side, while opening his right over the man's skull and closing it tight threatening to crush it within his grasp putting him right in front of the stun grenades to shield from them.

The man knew his place on the battlefield and without a single weapon on hand was able to hold his own against the likes of even Count Dracula. This was why Dracula respected the human race above all others. They held the most vulnerabilities of any race, and that made them the strongest for they knew where their limits lied, and they constantly pushed those limits everyday. Dracula took the stun grenades head on and the hand trying to crush his skull. Neither phased him as he stabbed his sword into the ground and grabbed Bane's arm with both his hands, pushing it off his face and twisting it, applying ample amount of pressure on the nerves and pulling on the arm hard enough to pop it out of socket.

"That makes two of us," came Sarah's reply.
She let the alien go and remained inside the police station looking to see if anything was taken. As far as she could tell, all they took were some papers on Gaia. So, they were interested in Gaia, too? Made sense. Gaia was working with the police, albeit indirectly, to find him and the other inmates who were now dead on the floor.
Sarah turned to find Garrus returned with Gaia on his back, placed down on the table before her. Sarah looked over the wound for a moment and noticed that some kind of outside force has already began to heal it. While she was examining the body, Sarah took this time to remove the helmet seeing the long, flowing red hair fall out. Sarah removed the goggles next and recognized the face of the vigilante. Dracula's suspicions were correct.
"Tori."

Kragen ran towards Dracula's sword and pulled it out of the ground, bringing the sharp edge to Bane's neck and pushing it against his flesh threatening to slice open his throat, staring into Bane's eyes.
"Where's the ship?!"

The bullet came out of the wound and the blood poured back in before the wound closed. Gaia started to come back to consciousness, rolling on her back and looking up to see her sister in law, and the alien she was helping earlier when she realized her helmet and goggles were off.
Tori panicked, snatching the goggles from Sarah's hands and quickly putting them back on. She grabbed the helmet as well and stuffed her hair back inside, redoing the strap around the neck while jumping up from the desk away from the two.
“Sorry! Gotta run!”
Gaia lifted up another part of the ground and rode out of the police station. By the looks of it, the mayor and Kragen had Bane covered, so she went about finding the source of the person WHO SHOT HER! This brought Gaia to a building where a girl dressed like she came out of an old Western movie was standing on the rooftop. Gaia swooped down, swiping the gun out of her hand with a string of vines from her hands and hovered over her.
“Yodel-ay-hee-hoo! How you doing, Cowgirl?”

The sky darkened and the clouds seemed to be moving with purpose instead of moving about without a care in the world. Wind tended to intensify and a storm formed before a bright beam of multicoloured light erupted from the eye of the storm and struck the streets. The beam wasn't exactly intent on destruction but it did cause slight damage and before he knew it the Son of Asgard sat on a cold floor instead of the comfortable seat he was in mere moments ago. No longer surrounded by trusted warriors and a glorious feast, he no longer had a view of Golden towers and tranquility.Thor still held the cup he had been drinking from,Sadly it seemed the contents of the cup hadn't quite made it to the end of the trip and his Hammer sat right beside him. The storm in the sky seemed to gather darker clouds and the wind blew harder.
With a sigh Thor stood up and threw the cup on the ground. His vision was still blurry but he attempted to comminucate with the gatekeeper of the Bifrost. "Heimdall,Must thou use the.. before Thor could finish his sentence he realised that he was on midgard,One of his most favoured planets. Although it wasn't quite in its usual state it still cheered him up. Usually the streets were full of small midgardian chariots, oddly enough today the streets had multiple damaged chariot remains and seemed mostly empty. Not too far from where Thor had landed he could see a large man being attacked. The particular part of the road that the fight had been taking place seemed like it had been a battle field not too long ago. Thor quickly moved towards the people that were brawling in the streets. His crimson cape gently swayed with the breeze as he approached the fighters without his hammer in order to show them that he was not hostile. His hammer still sat where Thor had landed while he spoke only a few feet away from the fighters in a polite manner. "Twould be wise to end this feud. One should not go against their own kin in such a manner. Thor looked around to see the remains of the damaged midgardian chariots, the wrecked building and dead midgardians in uniform that layered the entrance of the wrecked building.

This can't be. Sincara shot her in the heart, she should be dead not flying about making wisecracks! The only thing she could figure is that her relationship with the Earth revived her somehow, or that alien creature in blue did something inside the police station. Damn. Damn! So close to having revenge only for it to be taken out from under her at the last minute.
Before Sincara could react to Gaia's approach, the revolver in her hand was smacked away by a vine and she was left defenseless. So the woman thought, but Sincara had far more tricks up her sleeve than a revolver. Eyes now fixated on the hero, she began to search deep for the one sin that dominated her heart. What she saw came as no real surprise. Gaia possessed the first, and most deadliest of sins. Pride.
Sincara increased the Pride in Gaia's heart to suicidal levels. She would become reckless. So sure in herself and her abilities that she'd throw caution to the wind, and no matter what she did, it would be perverted in the interest of one self. Everything would be done for her benefit, not the benefit of others. Then people would finally see what kind of hero and god they worshiped.

Garrus Vakarian Tori? Garrus had no idea who Tori was, being new to Kansas and having to stay in hiding because of the way he looked. It looked like he wouldn't be learning who Tori was anytime soon, either, as she put her helmet and goggles back on and flew out of the precinct. Garrus Vakarian Wait! You were just shot, we need to-! Nothing. She was gone before he could even finish his sentence this time. What was with women not listening to him today? He turned back to question Sarah. Garrus Vakarian You mind telling me what all of that was about?
