Garrus was knocked back by the shockwave and crashed into one of the desks in the police station that was recently reconstructed by Sarah's magic. He looked up to see Kragen next to him and took his hand to get back up on his feet. Garrus Vakarian I'm glad to see you're all right. Just who in the hell was that guy?

Bane kept a tight grip on the side of the van as it was knocked into the air. The driver and the rest of Bane's men started panicking as it did so, but Bane remained calm despite the circumstances. For he had stared death in the face once before. He was ready to jump off into a roll when the van got close enough with the ground until Thor caught it in midair.
"You are a persistent man."
Bane threw a punch at Thor meant to make him momentarily lose his grip on the van to use the distraction to jump down to the ground, leaving a crack against the street with his weight as he broke off into a nearby alley.

"Unimportant. Bane's getting away."
Kragen took out his HK pistol once again and led Garrus through the streets as they followed the obvious trail left behind by Thor. Catching a glimpse of Bane exiting into an alley, the Ex-Soldier was quick to follow him in ready for anything now. Even when backed against the corner Bane was still the most dangerous man in Kansas City.

Gaia leaped back to gather some distance between herself and Sincara and struck the vines against the bullets exploding them before they could reach her. Roots now coming out of Gaia's hands traveling through the air fast and smacking the gun out of Sincara's hand with enough force to send it falling over the ledge of the building.

Sincara fell off the ledge after it. This looked like a suicide attempt to anyone on the outside looking in. A woman so obsessed with her weapon she'd rather die than part with it. There may have been some truth to it, but Sincara had no plans on dying today. Her hand reached out to grab the revolver, firing off a single magic round into the air creating a portal that she fell through transporting her elsewhere in the city. For now Sincara would just have to wait for her spell to take effect on the heroine. The rest would come later.

Garrus followed Kragen into the alley, his weapon at the ready and keeping an eye out for the God of Thunder. He didn't feel like being hit by anymore shockwaves today. The turian was on his guard, going over everything that happened so far today. It was a weird day, and it said something about this city when the appearance of an alien wasn't the weirdest thing to happen.

By the time Kragen and Garrus made it to the alley Bane was nowhere to be found. The only hints of his whereabouts being the smashed in window to the right, and the open manhole further down the road. Either path could lead to Bane, or both could very well be red herrings meant to draw them away from his scent so he could make his escape. The question was, what would they do now?

The Ex-Soldier stayed alert. For all they knew Bane was still in the alley and the open manhole and bashed in window were both decoys. Led by the barrel of his pistol, Kragen slowly walked near the right-hand side of the alleyway, letting Garrus take the left. He searched behind and inside the dumpster on the side and looked up the fire escape for any signs of Bane.
"Anything?"

“Gun lovers,” quipped Gaia.
Gaia ran over to the ledge to see Sincara falling through a portal. While the portal was still open, she took a step back giving herself a running start, and then ran towards the ledge jumping over it and diving headlong into the portal having no earthly idea where it was going to take her.
“GERONIMO!”

Garrus began searching the area for footprints. Activating his helmet and swapping between different visions to make finding the prints easier. A man as big as Bane was going to leave a rather large trail behind whether he liked it or not. It was the fastest way to learn which direction he took.

Bane's footprints went in circles all across the alleyway stopping at the broken window, the fire escape, the end of the alley, and the open manhole. Bane was no fool. He knew people could track down footprints even without special visors, so he made sure to cover his tracks well.

Garrus Vakarian His prints are all over the place covering his tracks. Garrus kept a calm voice even though deep down inside he wanted to scream. Now wasn't the time to get frustrated. Bane was an intelligent man and it required an equally as intelligent man to track him down. The turian stood up and walked to the end of the alley to see if anymore footprints continued out. He knew that Bane wanted them to split up in order to search for him, but both knew that was a bad idea. To come so close only to lose him in the end? No, Garrus wouldn't accept defeat that easily.

"Perfect," Kragen expressed sarcastically.
The Ex-Soldier went over to the shattered window and tried to make out what he could in the dark. The chances of Bane still being in the building were slim, but Kragen wanted to help determine which direction he went. He turned his head to see Garrus was already at the other end of the alley.
"Any clues?"

The footprints didn't leave the alley, nor went inside the building, nor did they go on the rooftops, nor down in the sewers. They just stopped altogether.

Garrus Vakarian None yet. Garrus turned back around inside the alley and checked the other entrance points one by one. Thanks to night vision he was able to see down into the sewers as clear as day, but there were no footprints. Even in the water there would still be footprints as there wasn't enough room to swim in. The building didn't have any footprints either, and after climbing to the top of the fire escape, no footprints on the rooftop or any of the other rooms leading inside the building. Garrus Vakarian The trail just turns cold. Knowing there was no other explanation, Garrus returned to the alley and switched to thermal vision looking around once again for any signs of Bane.
