After her trip to the cafe Daniela retreated to Ruth industries for the night. She had a private section of the lower levels to herself for her own business. Her quarters have many high-tech computers with a few that monitor the whole city with high-tech labs. She even has computers linked to the police database when needed. The teen when into another part of her quarters were dozens of robots just finished being built by her sentries.
"Perfect! The Cyber Legion is ready for deployment.
A few of her computers when online showing a map of the city and one that showed how many Cyber legionaries are on line. The robots looked up after being activated mentally by Danilea. A tunnel opened up for and they flew through it with their built in jet packs. The tunnel lead outside of the city so that no one can track them back from where they fly to. "Cyber legion! Spread out and patrol the city." The order was given out to each one of the robots, and they did as their mother told. Each one of them flew around looking for any criminal activity to stop. A few were in the process of stopping muggings, shot outs, robbers, and other pitty crimes. All this was being watched by Daneila in her quarters via her hivemind system.

At first they were no louder than whispers, and then they became screams. Thousands upon thousands of screams pounding her head with every breath of life she took. They cried out in unison, but their voices scattered about. Talking among themselves forcing the child to make sense of it all. It was enough to tear you apart. With all the pounding and throbbing of the head, one question remained inside the Demon Child's mind. One question that managed to drown out the demons within.
Are we alive?
Dried blood stained the feet of the small child as she moved down the street oblivious to the dangers all around her. Eyes as black as the darkness. Men with ill intent closed in on the child. Their thoughts impure and worthy of the fires of Hades. This would be the making of their own undoing as the closer they got, the more dangerous the street around them became. Legion continued her walk, a trail of explosions following her every move forcing the men back instantly when they realized this was no mere child.
Many of the men ran away when the child showed off her powers, or at least... they tried. But soon even they could do nothing about the madness. The men fell to their knees, hands clamped onto their skulls as they screamed at the top of their lungs. Their skin melted off their faces and were reduced to nothing more than a bloodied skeleton laying on the ground. The leader of the group sat paralyzed in fear as the child drew closer. There was nothing he could do. Nothing he could say. Nothing he could think that would change his fate. All he could do was stare in the eye of complete darkness...
And die.

So far the night was going good. The legionnaires were stopping a great amount of small crimes through out the city, and left the criminals for the polices after calling them. Daniela though about calling it a night soon until she saw something from the eyes of a legionnaire. The image was just horrific. Pools of blood covered the street with skeletons spread across it, and worst of all, a little girl was behind it all. But she knew damn well that it was no girl. What she saw was a demon sent from hell. Over a dozen legionnaires were sent to the same location as the girl after calling the police for back up. Each Legionnaire fired eletric blast to use to stun the "girl".

They came from the sky like an angel of heaven and wasted no time in subduing the devil that stood across from them in the form of a child. Black eyes never flinched in the face of the electricity closing in. The fire from the earlier explosions increased the heat in the air to almost superhuman levels. For the fire did not bend to its own will, but was a willing servant to the child that stood unyielding to the threat now opposing her. An air lens were created in the area rendering the robots' efforts useless as the child stepped forward.
Legion extended her hand and from the palm came a single ink black tendril that stretched out through the air and collided into first robot with the intent of tearing it apart. The rest of the small child's body erupted into tendrils, all of them going to squeeze the remaining robots while the bloodied skeletons rose to their feet, set ablaze by the flames around the area and moving in the direction of the police sirens.

The skeletons wouldn't make it to the police vehicles, because a series of magic blasts would take take them all out reducing them to dust. From that the fire in the area would turn into single rain droplets in a blink of a eye. The sure left the police confused after thy got out of their cars. But their confusion wouldn't be turned into shock when they saw a teenage boy walk pass them to the girl. Stopping a couple of feet in front of her his finger sparked a flame on top of it whiched he uses to light up his cigarette. "Now who wants daddy's belt?"

The fire that burned on the edge of his cigarette blew up in his face and ignited his body in flames that burned his clothes and reached his flesh. The lighter flying into the hand of the Demon Child who manipulated the fire all around her creating a second inferno that spread over the area threatening to burn everything in its path until one could see her standing in the middle of the carnage. Unburnt by the same fire that surrounded her.
The howling of the undead returned to the surface once the Underworld yielded to the commands of the Demon Child and released the souls of the fallen by Legion's hand back into the surface. Their spirits charging head first into the police officers who vainly attempted to unload bullets into that which was not solid. Legion's head now turned in the direction of the new arrival.

"That wasn't very nice." The teenage boy said on the other side of the demon and was surprisingly unharmed. Well other then apart of his clothing that was burnt. When the fire started he ditched his smoke, and used his magic to use a teleportation spell. He was now in a protective shield that covered a large area around him. From his sack he pulled a book and opened up to a certain page. Inside the sheild he starts to chant something to him. He was chanting up a Demon banishing spell to put the demon back in hell where it belonged along with the undead spirits.

Daniela watched as her Legion was teared to pieces in front of her. Her fears were growing strong, but were replaced with a ray of hope when a teenage magic user came to the scene. He hid himself in a bubble and was chanting something.Thinking that it will help defeat this demon she sent the remaining robots to cover him. A few shot out energy blast at her and the tendrills while a few took empty cars to throw at her.

The demons inside Legion's mind snarled at the magician. Exorcism was a dangerous profession. A constant war between devil and man. It took focus, discipline, and strength to cast a demon out of a workable host, but he was not dealing with one devil. He was dealing with an army. An army clad in the skin of a child. And now another army came to assist the boy in black.
Robots weren't the same as people. They lacked a soul, an essence. A mind to read, but they still had memories. Information. Information that could be attained. The Demon Child downloaded this information into her brain through her telepathy and duplicated it inside of her. Using this information, an invisible force would begin to reprogram the robots on the field, removing them from the clutches of their mother. Just then, the pain receptors in the boy's head would go off granting him unbearable pain to break his focus. For it was focus that kept magic in line, and without there was nothing to defend him from the energy blasts that were now headed his way at all sides, along with the tendrils.

His chanting was cut off by a extreme amount of pain in his skull. The process of the spell was cut off and his book fell to the ground. It wasn't long before his sheild was broken through and was pounded with energy blasts and the tendrills. Now a normal human would have been killed, but having enchanted durability and speed healing he was still alive. But he wasn't doing very good since he cough up some blood and still had a crappy head ache. What a dirty move!

Gaia was patrolling the city when she noticed a bunch of robots flying around. That was new. Rise of the machines! Didn't they learn anything from science fiction? This could only turn into disaster. Enough about that, though. Gaia noticed all the robots were going to one place and flew down to see police, ghosts, Legion, and some kid trying to fight her now surrounded by tendrils. Gaia has seen enough hentai to know where this was going.
Strong roots shot out of Gaia's hands and wrapped around the man tight enough to pull him out of the path of the tendrils. Once the man was brought to safety Gaia landed down on the street and turned her full attention to Legion. She didn't know what to do about the ghosts. The police had to fall back due to none of their weapons working, and if Gaia's hunch was correct the only way to get rid of them was defeating the source. Which if she had to guess, was the creepy looking child who wouldn't have been out of place in The Ring movie.
“Isn't it pass your bedtime?”

There appeared to be no escape for the boy who put his life on the line for the innocent. Hope was lost... That was until a woman from the sky came down and pulled the boy away from the demon's clutches. A woman dressed simply for the act of heroism. Face covered behind goggles. Condescending in stature as she approached the situation with only a pinch of caution. Did she fight as recklessly as the boy, or merely acted as such? Time would tell as the Demon Child took her first steps forward towards this new adversary.
The apparitions turned from the police and began to blink down the road to Gaia's position. They couldn't be touched by the living, but that didn't stop them from being deadly. With each contact they made with the living they disrupted the natural flow between life and death, and this disruption caused terrible pain to any who came in contact with them. Meanwhile, Legion moved in a flash, suddenly appearing from Gaia's front to her flank.
Would the hero rise to the challenge, or fall just like the rest?

“You are such a melodramatic!”
Gaia bent down and lifted her platform back up into the air with her hand, steering it to the right and going the opposite direction Legion appeared in while evading the charging spirits. She didn't even want to know what those things would do if they touched her. Coming back around full circle, Gaia snapped her fingers causing the ground to rise up over Legion's legs and fuse with them keeping her in place as she swooped down and sprouted a plant from her arm that shot sleeping powder into Legion's face to put her to sleep.

Gaia's mind was an open book. Every thought. Every decision. They were laid bear to the Demon Child who stood before her. Legion's body was hoisted into the air by the power of her own telekinesis, evading the wrath of the earth below while flying higher into the air to meet Gaia. Fire drew from her hands and filled the air between herself and the heroine, burning the plant before it sleep powder could ever see the light of day.
The fire continued to burn unyielding in the face of Kansas City's Champion. It became one with the air, dancing around her on all sides, descending through the sky upon her head. The intense heat becoming unbearable with each passing second. Soon... it would be impossible to breathe. As if the Devil Child intended to strangle her with smoke and fire. Eyes as black as night staring through the goggles to the emerald greens underneath, and looking even deeper than that. Eyes were called windows to the soul, and Legion made her way through to see the very essence of the hero. All while the flames lit up the night sky around them. Burning... and burning...
And burning...

Oh, she can fly, too? And she didn't even need a platform or anything? That's nice! Gaia moved backwards when her plant was burned and proceeded to box herself in, creating walls on all four sides of the platform that raised up and created a ceiling over her, protecting her from the flames long enough to land back down on the ground. The walls and ceiling broke apart and released a wave of bullets in the form of hardened concrete that shot up into the air to pierce Legion, but they weren't aim to kill. Only subdue.
“I take it you're a fan of the Lord of Light.”
Gaia clapped her hands together and collected the dust on the ground emulating that of a tornado. The dust tornado shot up into the sky at Legion, and while attacking, picked up enough wind to die down the flames enough for a mudslide to put out what remained of the fire.
“Just call me “Gaia the Firefighter!”
