Superwoman indeed heard the clanking of armor and turned around to see the spear in-coming. One of these days the Woman of Steel would learn how to dodge, but that was not one of these days. While the spear wasn't strong enough to penetrate her skin, the force behind the blow was enough to knock Superwoman further back into the art exhibit. "I'm getting tired of you." There was only so much poking one woman could tolerate. By the time the Woman of Steel stood up, her eyes were as red as can be, and two rays of intense heat released from them aimed at the spear to destroy it.

Air was a beautiful thing. It breathed new life into us everyday and existed in every possible place you could imagine it to be. It was responsible for so much while going on unseen. It aided the birds who flew in the air, the objects that passed on from hand to hand. Air was...
Inescapable. For without it there would be no life. That why it shouldn't have came as any surprise to the Risen that the projectiles all missed their target colliding into the ground regardless of the creature's deadly aim. For it was air that guided them, and air was the very thing he controlled.
"My turn."
Uranus extended his arms and closed both his fists, when he did the air around the Hydromancer began to tighten until the pressure was so great it threatened to crush him right where he stood.

Goblin took the shot dead on like a champ and staggered through the air on top his glider. Thankfully for him the armor was strong enough to protect him from the bullet, but it still left him momentarily dazed. Before too long he was cackling yet again and aiming the guns on the front of his glider at the woman unloading a torrent of bullets at the civilian. It was only right that he repaid her in kind for the bullet to the chest.

Laura jumped out of the path of the bullets and fired back more shots of her own as she hit the ground. This time aiming at different parts of the glider in an attempt to damage it.

The Kid Hero was more durable than he looked to still have his arm attached at all, more importantly the Myrmidon's blade had been frozen over in retaliation. The Risen was shifting into a defensive stance and pulling the blade back to hopefully avoid Sub-Zeros reach.... when someone interfered. Some jackass with a red energy cleaver just darted off with the Risen's victim. A deep gash through the Myrmidon's torso was almost an afterthought, despite staggering back and losing another unnecessary organ. Useless Spleen! Wait, why does my back hurt? Through the dulled pain it had taken the pair of Mymidons some time to realize they'd actually been hit when the Green Goblin came speeding through. The first of the pair finally freed his claymore and idly wished he had a back-scratchier to check the bullet holes. Whatever, they were still moving. The pair of Myrmidons ignored Uranus and his fight, instead going around the far left of the parking lot to approach the museum.
Nearby two of the Barbarians gathered their senses. The one with a crushed jaw temporarily lay on the ground wondering if a concussion still mattered to the undead. Probably. As the first brought himself back up to make another hack at the Asgardian he realized pursuing Thor alone was likely a bad idea. He waited for the other two to get on their feet and get ready to follow. Risen Barbarian #2 still have a few scraps of metal stuck in his arms, torso, and was pretty sure going through the car left some crushed glass up his nose. It wasn't long until the trio of Barbarians were also heading to the broken wall of the museum. The whole point of this had been to avoid other Super Beings gaining entry!
Elsewhere a certain Hydromancer was remembering why he always despised Aeromancers. The second he felt Uranus shifting his power into an attack the Grimleal Hydromancer cut off the geyser and instead coiled the water surging from his tome around himself. At best the short notice gave him a thin watery wall between himself and the building pressure, a stalling tactic at best. Still, the oxygen within the water if nothing else would be far harder for Uranus to control due to it being in the grasp of an opposing power. Now the Hydromancer just needed to solve the problem of possibly drowning within his own barrier....
The Grimleal had happily buried mook chivalry. As they got back to their feet and ignoring many cracked bones, the Risen Mercenaries that had been guarding the vans spread out. The group of three circled around Uranus and swiftly approached from three separate angles to keep his attention divided. If nothing else, they needed to learn how quickly how quickly could shift targets.
Meanwhile a few prototype enchantments flickered on the spear being targeted by Superwoman's heat vision. They quickly failed, the spearhead being reduced to slag in seconds. The second Knight took this moment to throw the ruined remains of a shield like a bladed discus. Not like they had anything else capable of dealing heavy damage... Of course the Risen Barbarian was still willing to take another shot at it. Coming at Superwoman from the left and trying to time it so he'd enter range after she was hit with, or did something about, the hurled shield fragment. The Barbarian would step into a two handed swing from the side with his axe and put enough force into it to practically spin himself around.... and he probably would if he missed.
Further inside the building Grima fought the urge to facepalm. In his arm's current state he'd just zap himself. Somehow not only had the Risen Myrmidon been inept enough to miss the Goblin's glider, he'd been ignored by the pair completely. Whatever, if they want to fight so much you two just go for the head. The Myrmidon circled around the quarreling Goblin and Archaeologist upon hearing the telepathic order. Unless they decided to bother with a random zombie, he'd just calmly wander up to the containment zone for Medusa's Head. On the other claw, the Risen Mercenary just lurked by the room's door. He'd see if the Myrmidon was going to get himself petrified first.

Superwoman caught the shield in her hand and threw it right back like a Frisbee. First it smacked across the Barbarian sending him spinning backwards on his own momentum before proceeding over to the two knights in front of her. After this she noticed the Myrmidon making a move for where the Medusa's head was said to be and zipped along the ground. Nothing signaling her movement except for a sudden gust of wind as she stopped in front of the entrance to the room to block the Myrmidon and anyone else making a move for the head. "This is as far as you go. Turn back now and you won't get hurt."

Uranus only laughed and crossed his arms sending a great surge of wind in every direction to blow the Risen Mercenaries away. This forced him to shift his focus and the air pressure was dropped. His attention however would be taken away to the gunshots coming from inside the building and that's when he saw the Barbarians blocking the torn down wall. He snapped his fingers, causing the air around the Hydromancer to explode to keep him busy long enough to speed across the parking lot charging into the Barbarians.
How was he able to accomplish this feat? By reducing air resistance and utilizing pressurized air for propulsion causing him to be much faster than he normally was. It was enough to make him feel like the Flash for a moment, but he knew he wasn't that fast. Still, he was fast enough to make the Barbarians have to act quickly as a wave of wind shot forth from his hands to knock them away from the hole so he could grant entry into the museum.

The night was about to grow worse for our heroes when the rustling of soldiers' feet could be heard coming outside of the museum. Twenty knights clad in armor from head to toe as if torn right from the medieval days marched through the streets of Kansas City with lances in their right arms and shields in the left. Their armor covering the fact that they were legions of the undead just like the rest of Lord Grima's armies. Leading them was a man who dwarf them in size. Standing at six feet, eight, and weighing over four-hundred pounds of pure muscle, his armor adding another two-hundred to his weight making him nothing less than a juggernaut.
The Black Knight needn't say a word. All his men required was the sight of the Mercurius before they charged towards the entrance of the museum. All twenty men, no small folk despite the size of their General leading the charge, rushing the entrance of the building with their lances at the ready. Their orders were simple. Retrieve the Medusa's head and lay to rest any who chose to stand in their way.

Goblin shifted to the left avoiding the bullets aimed at his glider and then noticed Grima and the undead making a move for the head. He had been so absorbed with Laura he had forgotten the other party completely. Not content with anymore mistakes, the Green Goblin threw razor bats into the air. Small round balls that took on bladed wings and began to move through the air on their own towards Grima.
That was when Superwoman arrived creating yet another obstacle in his path. He threw another pumpkin bomb between her and the Myrmidon, but this one was different. This one was designed to completely incinerate its targets. Little did he know it wouldn't do jack shit to Superwoman. Green Goblin backed up a ways so he could get everyone in his sights. His head turning to see the reinforcement flooding the entrance.
Things were getting crowded.

The Green Goblin has felt so bizarrely out of place that he actually made the animated corpses and the guy with electricity around his arm look normal. She didn't even notice the two undead under Grima's command about to walk right into the next room right under her nose. It was enough to make her feel like an idiot. Thank god Superwoman showed up when she did.
Laura jumped out of the way again when Goblin threw the pumpkin bomb to stay away from the blast and got back up to her feet. Being the second one to see the twenty knights zerg rushing the museum. She was going to need more bullets. Laura shot at the Green Goblin while his head was turned and then set the barrel towards Grima.
"Don't move!"

Shadow stopped his attack as Thor arrived. "Well now two against one?" His ring glowed as the knives and blades turned back to blood. He chuckled studying the two combatants. "I didn't think this puny planet had a great response team."
Raising his ring to his mouth he asked it, "Power?" The ring responded in a demonic voice. "POWER AT 65%" Shadow smiled wickedly as he lowered his hand. "More than enough." He clenched his fist as the blood sprang back to life as Knives and blades reappeared. With a yell they attacked the two heroes.

Ash instantly created a shield of ice as Shadow advanced on his with the knives. Seeing Thor come in Ash felt a wave of relief wash over him. "Hey Thanks for the hand man." He gave Thor the Devil Horns with his free hand. "I owe ya."
Creating a second gauntlet of ice Ash readied himself against Shadows attack. The blades and knives easily broke through Ash's barrier of ice. Reacting quick Ash blocked the weapons with his ice gauntlets. His gauntlets started to crack forcing him to strengthen his only defense as he was blocking the attacks.

Thor noticed the man in red had no intention of backing off, infact before he knew it a flury of red projectile knives flew at him. With a sigh Thor spoke to himself They never listen do they He slightly wondered why he kept trying to use the peaceful approach since it was obvious that villains were way to proud to step down from a battle. Sadly that was something villains and the Son of Asgard had in common. When the knives flew his way Thor only protected his face he knew his armour would protect him mostly but sadly he hadn't worn the silver arm protectors due to the weather. A multitude of cuts formed on Thor's arms, the sight of his own blood brought out his warriors nature , Thor quickly struck the ground again to create a much smaller shockwave this time, Its only purpose would be to force the red Lantern off balance. During this phase Thor quickly rushed forward to perform a simple tackle while his enemy was knocked off balance by the shockwave. Once they had hit the ground Thor quickly managed to place Mjolnir on the red lantern's chest then stood up and loocked back down at him. You have drawn the blood of the son of asgard, I don't see this ending well for you Thor spoke to the red lantern paying little to no attention to his bleeding arms. Thor had second thoughts about finishing off the job, he knew his hammer would keep the red lantern subdued since no force could remove that hammer once Thor had placed it.

Outside The Museum
The Mercenaries went flying again, though for better or worse the trip was less vertical. The Hydromancer tried to multitask in the brief window of opportunity this granted him, prepping the ice left around the museum grounds to move and casting an anti-magic barrier on himself... Both proved for naught as he wasn't finished by the time the air around him seemed to become as loud as a sonic boom. The injury wasn't as grievous as he'd expected, but with the sensation of the world spinning and both ears constantly ringing it left the Hydromancer to collapse in a heap. Even the sound of Kaso approaching with reinforcements was lost on him. But not on the other mages and Risen. The Pyromancer and Necromancer recovered their senses at long last and exited their vans as Uranus dashed toward the charging Barbarians, both with tomes at the ready and only hesitating for a better shot. The Hero's approach was enough for the Barbarians closest to his trajectory to spin around and half-blindly try to intercept Uranus with his axe... Though his chances of a successful hit against that speed were negligible. Even if all they did was keep Uranus around long enough for the Knight reinforcements to catch up it'd be worth the effort.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Inside the Museum, RisenSomeday the Risen Barbarians would learn that reckless strategies didn't always pay off, but not today as he went spinning backwards like a homicidal and awkwardly angled top. It had left an impressive serrated gash across the Barbarians torso... Yet the shield was less of a problem when it impacted into one of the Knights. Had it been angled for a full force impact it would have plunged right through the armor, but tilted to bounce it instead left a tear in the armor that failed to penetrate to the Risen. Even if it did leave him stumbling backward for a few seconds... The second Risen Knight had adequate warning and attempted to catch it. With moderate success he got both hands on the flat edges, but it didn't stop until eating through the armor on his left arm and causing a deep wound. The Knight just tried to pretend that part didn't happen as he pulled the killer Frisbee from his arm. Having resolved that embarrassing incident without casualty, they did the sensible thing and gave chase. A pity the Knights weren't able to cover the same distance quickly.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Museum Standoff, GrimaGrima raised an eyebrow, even if it couldn't be seen under the dragon-skull helmet, at the powers of perception finally kicking in. The Fell Dragon raised a magnetic field around himself as the razor bats approached. He expected the repulsive field to render the razor bats useless, once the flying weapons had to struggle to reach him they'd lack the power to do anything significant to Dragonskin. Laura wasn't the only one waiting to take a pot-shot at the Green Goblin. As he turned his attention to Superwoman and the Myrmidon, Grima raised his charged arm and fired at the Goblin. The fully charged Thoron tore free of Grima's arm with an almost explosive boom of thunder, the electric beam surging at the Goblin with speed to just shy of a bullet. Armor would do little good against this... With that done Grima expanded the magnetic field, attempting to crash the razor bats into the nearby walls. Rather it succeeded or not he'd retract the field to lingering near his body again. Yet Grima couldn't entirely write the Goblin off, it was far too rare for Thoron to slay someone instantly. Now he calmly advanced on Luara. "Such unexpected valor from a scholar, flee or embrace a dog's death." It felt odd to offer a chance to escape, probably Robin's doing with them stuck together in the same skull. The Myrmidon preparing to attack Superwoman was less lucky, the incendiary pumpkin bomb blowing off the lower half of his left leg and sending the now ablaze Myrmidon flying across the room. Upon crashing into a wall and then falling to the ground the Risen began a routine of stop-drop-and-roll. It didn't seem to be doing much good as of yet. Meanwhile the Risen Mercenary darted out of the room, slipping into a hall to the group's right and making a dash for Medusa's Head along a different route. Going for a total party kill could wait when someone else could still beat them to the artifact. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sewers, Risen Chief The Risen Chief's patience was deader than he was now. Damn Necromancer had either forgotten his job as communications officer or was dead. It was high time to hit the surface personally. Neglecting the baggage of giving orders; the Chief made his way up the ladder leading out of the sewers... Though by doing so a few more Barbarians and Mercenaries followed him.
The entrance was covered well enough, he could see the bum-rush of Knights form here. Instead the Chief made his way to the side of the building... An area closer to the head than the Goblin, Laura, Grima, and Superowman's standoff had a loud crunch as the Risen Chief slammed his axe into the outer wall of the building. It buckled. Once more with gusto and the wall caved in, and The Risen Chief shouldered his way in through the hole. It was weird to be the one going for the objective while Master Grima held the line for a change, but whatever worked.

Goblin learned pretty fast that the Woman of Steel had no reason to fear as she didn't even flinch when the bomb went off near her and remained untouched by its power. Superwoman was caught between a rock and a hard place. Grima's men were making a move for the head, but at the same time a civilian was in danger with their leader. She knew the artifact could prove dangerous in the wrong hands, but decided that once again civilian lives were more important than possessions. Even one as rare and deadly as the Medusa's head.
Spotting the Barbarians that were heading this way, she took a deep breath and release a powerful gust of wind from her throat to push them back against one another. Buying her enough time to speed past Grima, taking Laura in her hands away from the central conflict and looking her over. "Are you okay?" Superwoman could hear the knights rushing in and knew that things just got a lot more complicated now. The robbery had turned into an invasion.
