To those who also have a habit to overthink things or simply enjoy enemy data, I'll just leave a convenient text-wall here to elaborate on my templates for minions. For reference please see the Fire Emblem Classes here as they will be used extensively for the Risen and Grimleal.
The Rotten will be featured as a general 'mook' level threat. Compared to an average civilian I'd rate most of their stats at say 1.10~1.25, a flat 1 being the generic untrained human. Due to sub-par intelligence they will not be utilizing classes. I fully expect them to be swatted like flies by heroes because quite frankly they are there as a low HP Zerg Rush style lackey. Or maybe a 'civilian friendly' fight if any of the sites normal people wanna feel like a badass.
The Risen will be treated as Elite Mooks from this point onward. Stat wise they could be anywhere in the 1.30~1.80 range. Depending on the Risen's Class (for stat distribution purposes) and the Hero/Character in question, I'm aiming for 2 or 3 of them to be an adequate challenge for a fight.... but aside from high HP as undead and armor will lack defensive powers.
Grimleal troops will be similar to the Risen, but with more tricks up their sleeves instead of raw durability. Class system will also be used, with the addition of Mages. For the most part these mages will be a single-element and utility spells setup, lacking in passive defenses. I'm honestly just going to toss them out with generic titles and worry about making a full NPC out of ones that survive impressively, consider it open season to go wild when fighting them.
Next up is the concept of Promoted Risen. This we've seen an example of with the Risen Chief(Berserker Class). As the name implies these will be Risen sporting classes from Fire Emblem Style promotions, they are the badasses. Threat level should be treated as Boss Fight, with several stats being outright super-human level in an overall range of 1.90~3.00. Naturally solid 3s will be a rarity. Defensive powers beyond Undead Physiology may appear, but will be limited to one per Promoted Risen, and kept intentionally weaker than Dragonskin.
The Deadlords are what happens when a Promoted Risen becomes fully self-aware (thus becoming True Undead) and has capped at least one stat at triple that of a human. Deadlords are treated as Elite Bosses; possessing up to three capped stats, and four skills, one of which they are able to use for a barrier. The skills from Fire Emblem are guidelines instead of absolutes for this.
The Grimleal Regalia are pseudo-legendary tier equipment. While it wouldn't match true legendary weapon or the artifact of a God completely; the Regalia come damn close to it. Rather its a weapon or armor, they are damn near indestructible and can easily serve as top-grade magic catalysts. Regalia made for the Risen are almost guaranteed to be cursed to continually suck the life from any living person attempting to wield it.
Full NPCs like Raphael Gresham/Prince Leoric are also intended as bosses. If anyone has a problem with me not providing open Bios for them I can begin doing so, but rest assured I'll keep them built responsibly and limited to dual-type powersets with utilities.
