The day of the earthquake buckets of experimental toxic wastes were spilled and Lori got caught up in the middle of it all. She was rushed to the emergency room immediately and quarantined as doctors tried to treat her. Their assistance wouldn't be needed as Lori's body began to heal itself. Frightened by this, Lori trashed the hospital in her panic and ran off into the woods where she explored her powers more thoroughly.
She could pull a tree out from its roots and lift it with her bare hands. Her healing abilities could regenerate her body from a near-death state and cure minor to moderate wounds almost instantly. Lori found the new found strength to be addicting and looked for more ways she could test her limits. That was when she saw Gaia flying in the sky and became inspired to be a superhero herself. Adopting the name The Indestructible Woman and stopping bad guys one crook at a time.
