Gaia shifted weight from her left foot to the right and moved to the side of the laser beam shrouded in electricity missing it completely.
“I'll take that as a yes.”
Gaia slammed her platform into the ground as she did with the thugs from earlier causing the ground to tremble, following up by stomping the floor and lifting up a sphere from the concrete and launching it towards Robin.

Thing were almost looking up for the Risen Chief. Zira was wounded, he had time to pull back for a second swing... Then his spine started screaming and the berserker found himself landing face first in the street with a surprised "grak!". The Risen Chief rolled to the side like someone who finally remembered the first rule about being on fire. Assuming she didn't kick him while he was down, the Risen Chief would soon come to stop and shift to a kneeling position follow by launching himself at Superwoman.... Still partly on fire.
Meanwhile the lesser Risen got a crash course in 'Boom! Headshot'. They were sitting ducks after Superwoman, heads being reduced to flying cerebral giblets in short order. This finally kept them down. Resulting in a short spray of black mist from their freshly opened throats, followed by collapse and going into rapid decomposition.
Robin manage to keep his footing during the first rumble, if only barely. Immediately after the sorcerer reached into his cloak with his left hand to withdraw something from the pockets that lined the inside. As Gaia stomped the ground he extracted a small book with a jade green cover. In terms of size it looked like a random novel, but the arcane scrawl decorating the cover showing otherwise. As the sphere of concrete took flight, Robin was already moving. A few sideways steps followed by an agile hop brought him clear of being crushed.
Shifting mental processes quickly, Robin the cracked the tome open and muttered something almost unintelligible. The sudden gust of wind kicking up from Robins general direction came as an early warning, as five scarcely visible crescent shaped blades from within the gale. By magic's standard they were little more than firecrackers, but wind's true selling point was disturbing speed and accuracy.

Superwoman found her mark and the beast went down by the moment she came to a halt. Her eyes settling on the scar across Zira's chest as she looked at her with concern written across her face. "You're hurt!" They didn't have much time for small talk as the Risen Chief launched himself back up through the air for Superwoman. The Woman of Steel returned the favor in kind as the two rammed into each other with enormous strength, the head on collision generating a small explosion that tore up the ground all around them.

Worry? Why would she be worried? They hardly knew each other. This was when Zira wished she could read her mind, or at least her emotions. She didn't trust anybody she couldn't read. Then again, she didn't trust people, period. Never had a reason too. People were the reason she was in this sorry state to begin with.
The monster turned his attention to Superwoman, so Zira would allow them to duke it out while keeping her distance. Wanting nothing to do with the powerhouses' rumble. For now, the Firebird would concentrate on decreasing the number of undead on the field. Zira outstretched her hands and lifted up a nearby vehicle that was parked on the side of the road. Lifting it over the in-coming horde and dropping it on top of them; watching them squirm from underneath the car's wheels.
It made her smile.

Gaia lifted up her arms in front of her face in an X shape formation as she pushed on through the wind. The arms transformed into solid rock withstanding the impact from the crescent shaped blades that were released. Now sending her arms crashing down into the ground producing a vicious shockwave towards Robin.

With the new addition of a flying car the only zombie left to worry about was the Risen Chief. Out of all his bad ideas trying to take Superwoman on with a tackle was probably the worst. The explosive collision sent him flying backwards, landing on his back with enough force to make a rut in the ground. This time the undead was slower to rise, many cracked bones complaining while a few broken ones boycotted the action. Still, the right arm was in working order and had found it's way to gripping the axe again.
Dragonskin was the only reason Robin wasn't' decked by the shockwave. The barrier dulled the impact enough that Robin was instead only forced to stagger briefly before falling and catching himself with his empty hand and one knee. While he was dimly aware of Grima stopping just short of verbally chiding his foolishness for being caught by such a simple trick... The important thing was the next incantation. The wind had never truly stopped, giving less warning about the next attack.
This time the wind condensed into a drill-like shape as it surged forth, a phantasmal spiral forming about Robin and striking at Gaia on a downward angle. Rather it struck her transformed arms or nothing but common ground, the airy drill would spiral upon itself and tear into the opposing material with a vicious zeal.

Kara only gave the Chief a 'really?' look when he picked up the axe. He was nothing if not persistent. No matter. Only one thing to do. Fight. Superwoman charged headlong into the zombie again, and this time unleashed a fury of punches combining both her superhuman strength and speed aiming them for his head, chest, and pretty much anything she could get her hands on.

Zira performed a telekinetic tug on the monster's axe. Even if she was unable to snatch it from his hands him having to deal with tightening the grip would distract him momentarily from Superwoman allowing her to get some shots in. And considering how fast she could move there was no telling how many that would be.

At this rate they would be going back and forth all night. Gaia knew the best thing to do in this situation was attack the source, otherwise she'd have to deal with one spell at a time while inflicting little damage on the man himself. Gaia increased the gravity around her to keep from being blown away by the wind as she rushed forward, arms still in front of her face holding out against the air drill just long enough for her to close the gap between the two and launch a punch towards the face of the sorcerer with solid stone.

The Risen Chief had little option but to lie there and take it, and keep his right arm mobile enough to return a few hits. The axe came swinging upward despite all the impacts, though attempting to wield it one handed didn't have enough brute force to quite make it through Superwoman's barrier. Even if it got closer to striking her than any of the other Risen. Something on the inside of his chest collapsed under a punch and now there was a visible dent in the Risen Chief's head. The axe almost made it into as second swing, then the Firebird interfered and the axe came to a halt in the middle of the swing. The combination of its natural weight and the telekinesis left the axe little more than dead weight and a frustrated growl.
Robin raised an eyebrow under the skull-hat upon realizing the greater applications of Earth Manipulation toward Gravity.... Fascination cut short as he started both dashing backward and charging another Thoron. Still without a chance to build up acceleration he couldn't get away in time. Dragonskin kept the first punch from reaching him. Robin leaned into the second punch with a sudden shift toward approaching Gaia. Both recklessness and a solid rock fist making it through Dragonskin and connecting to Robin's cheek were greatly uncharacteristic of him. His jawbone protested loudly even with other bones between it and the impact.
On the other hand bringing his charged arm up toward Gaia's face and sending the partly charged lightning forth in a wild spray was more Robin's style.

Superwoman refocused her efforts onto the axe. The punches came to a sudden stop and her eyes lit up into a bright red hue prior to the heat rays escaping her eyes and connecting with the axe in her efforts to destroy it from the intense heat. Zira wasn't the only woman who could heat it up around here.

Jesus, was there anything this woman couldn't do? Strength, speed, flight, invulnerability as far as she could tell, and now heat vision? And none of it seemed to have any negative repercussions at all. Meanwhile, the third degree burns along Zira's arms were a constant reminder that she wasn't normal.
It was a tug of war between herself and the monster. Only instead of a rope they were battling over the axe. At least Zira was putting her powers to good use. Not sure why she would bother heating it up at all when one swing of the damn thing would just break on impact, but that wasn't her issue to worry about. Zira felt her head begin to hurt and a nosebleed coming on. The thing was even tougher than it looked.
Come on... I can't hold this forever!

Gaia got a face full of electricity for her troubles and was knocked back through the air landing butt first on the ground. Had it not been for both the helmet and the goggles it might have been even worse than what it was.
“Ow! That was ow, there.”
Gaia kicked up to her feet and placed her hands on the ground, lifting them up as if to sweep something out from under Robin. That something would happen to be the ground he was standing on.

The Risen Chief gave a confused groan as the punching stopped, and the axe started melting. Starting from the blade-tips closest to Superwoman and spreading downward along with the molten steel. Why did all the enchanted weapons go to the living members of the Grimleal!? He struggled a bit longer with the telekenitically held and rapidly melting axe. The loss of weight was actually helping with that. Somewhere in his cavernous skull a few remaining brain cells whispered conspiratorially to each either. The right arm stopped struggling to lift the now headless axe, changing the angle slightly so that the melting part had a chance to form a sharp point. Nevermind that molten steel was quickly running down the hilt to his hand, nope, forget that, fingers unimportant.
Now he needed one of them to lose focus. The Risen Chief shifted focus to his left arm and aimed a swift punch for the side of Superwoman's face. For once the objective wasn't to actually hurt her... but any flinch or distraction from the heat vision, or if Zira shifted or lost focus on the right arm; could give a better chance at getting through the barrier. Now if Superwoman stopped soon enough to inadvertently gave him a sharp and very heated pointy stick.....
Or they could go back to pounding his skull in at any time. Really the Risen Chief could only think five seconds ahead so hell if he knew.
Robin's first priority was getting off the ground, he already knew damn well his opponent could use the simple fact he needed somewhere to stand against him. Thankfully he picked a wind tome instead of a fire tome. Robin aimed the next whirlwind at himself and launched his body upward in tandem with a jump. He pushed the whirlwind into going up higher for fear of the ground literally chasing him now. As Robin was about to multitask with holding himself aloft and a smaller lightning barrage, Grima gave him a psychic nudge to tag out. Robin followed suit despite it delaying the chance to attack... Even through the skull mask the evil red glow was visible as Grima took the driver's seat to get a chance at using Nosferatu.

Superwoman's head was knocked to the side by the zombie's punch, and her heat rays fired off in the direction Zira was standing in before she could stop it. Kara slammed her eyes shut and then opened them again to see what became of the Firebird.
