Gaia didn't think she'd meet a pyro worse than the brunette she had to deal with earlier, but here we are! Before she could even react to the fireball Superwoman grabbed her and the pair flew off. The platform started to fall until Gaia summoned it with her left hand and it began tracking the two.
“I bet you say that to all the girls,” Gaia teased.
Kicking off Superwoman, Gaia nailed a perfect landing on her platform and noticed Risen Chief on the streets below.
“What are you looking at!?”
Gaia closed her right hand into a fist and the ground beneath the zombie collapsed in on itself creating a pathway to the sewers. The goggle-wearing superhero turning her attention back to Robin.
“You shouldn't play with fire, you'll hurt yourself!”

Spendthrift. Grima scoffed at his anchor. Robin started giving chase despite the small warning at the back of his mind from the Necromancy. Risen Chief on the other had noticed the ground wasn't where it should be... Well cruuuuuuud. He managed a single coherent thought before clawing madly at any scrap of ground in arms reach as gravity took effect. Unlike cartoons, gravity here didn't pull its punches and rendered the effort futile. While Risen Chief tried to scream 'motherfucker!' instead his faulty vocal cords generated "MWLAAAAaaaaaarg!" The cry itself steadily faded into the distance followed by a loud splash.
Robin paid no mind to this, directing the wind to carry him after Superwoman. Mentally he reviewed the catalysts he'd brought for this mission... Elwind tome, currently in use. Arcfire tome still in his pocket. The half-charged Flame Sword, a spare Levin Sword, and a Bolting tome. Both personalities remembering the third book in unison. There was a delay, and a bit of a wobble in his flight path, as Robin stashed the Flame Sword back into his cloak and withdrew a golden tome. Tagging out in mid-pursuit left Grima feeling a bit dizzy, but it passed easily. Still, he let them gain a lead as if they could escape. The Fell Dragon gripped the lightning tome tightly and started aiming. The wind up for this spell was something like trying to aim a sniper rifle... This gave the pair a bit of a breather as Grima couldn't strike willy-nilly like before.

"How can you flirt at a time like this?" Superwoman let Gaia go and diverted her eyes to Robin now that Risen Chief was momentarily exposed of. She didn't count the zombie out just yet after the hellish battle they had earlier. The Woman of Steel did a quick search of her new opponent with her X-Ray Vision, seeing through the cloak and to the spellbooks inside as well as the swords. "The man has another spellbook inside his cloak and a spare sword," she told Gaia quietly. Superwoman immediately switched to her Heat Vision and charged up a massive dual heat ray from her eyes, aiming right for where the man kept his other spellbook. She had enough of magic for today.

“Very easily.”
Gaia braced herself for what Robin had planned next while her back was mostly healed from the damage inflicted earlier. When Superwoman went over what the man had inside his clothes she made a grossed out looking face at her.
“Ew, you're literally undressing him with your eyes,” she whispered back.
At least it came with some useful information. Gaia would have asked what kind of book, but there was no time for that with him closing in.
“You take his left – I'll take his right. He has these wind swords thingies he likes to throw out from anywhere, so keep your guard up!”
With that, Gaia took off to the right and waited for his next move, making a point of remaining a moving target while not exhausting her energy at the same time.

Grima wasn't quite close enough to make out the words, correctly interpenetrating the glare however.... The defensive enchantments on the cloak melted like butter on the targeting area, at best they kept the entire cloak of bursting into flames. Had it not been a fire tome attuned to great heat the spellbook would have been destroyed in a couple of seconds. Arcfire withstood the beam at first. Staying in usable condition was another story. The cover buckled and partly melted. Once a hold formed in the cover page after page was incinerated along with the stored energy for it's ammunition.
Grima accelerated upward to break contact with the beam, even if by the time he did the tome was a wrecked husk with only 10% of it's power left... Not to mention the large hole in his cloak had cost him the other two pockets and a gash down the length. While he realized Gaia was still out there, Superwoman had to be an easier target for ranged attacks. An imperfect aim, but close enough. A single massive spark appeared in the air above and to the right of Kara... and with the trademark boom of a thunderstorm sent a single lightning bolt speeding down at her. Bolting was incapable of repeated attacks or he'd have done far more. After firing Grima circled toward the left to deprive Gaia of an easy time closing into melee range. We should consider getting out of here, for that matter lets start doubling our wind catalysts. While Grima loathed the thought of retreating... Robin had a point. This was not the kind of fight they could win from the ground.

Kara's ear twitched at the boom, her superhearing coming into effect as her body reacted. She moved in a red-blue blur and avoided the lightning descending from the heavens upon her head. The Woman of Steel wouldn't give him the time to come up with a follow-up as once again the combination of flight and agility put her in front of her target in an eye-blink; breaking off into a barrage of punches.

“When did I become the third wheel?”
Gaia took off in a boost of speed towards the fighting. She might not have been as fast as Superwoman, but she was still plenty agile in her own right. The redhead closed some distance, but kept a fair amount away from the conflict so she would be able to swoop in and aid Superwoman at any second.
“Would you two like to be alone?”

Superwoman's first punch was more of a warning than an attack as Dragonskin rendered the blow almost useless. If not for the superhuman reflexes.... Grima still sustained another four punches before he could properly react, mentally uttering an ancient curse against his vessel's frailty that Robin couldn't understand. As a sixth punch came Grima shoved the Tome of Bolting into the way of Superwomans' fist.... the impact proved sufficient to devastate the tome, causing it to explode into an electric burst. Even with Dragonskin broken Robin's body was sure to have better lightning resilience than Superwoman. Even if it didn't harm her what he needed was a spare second or two.
Meanwhile the Risen Chief was still lost in the sewers somewhere. His mangled right hand made taking a steep climb back up an null option.... There had to be a manhole cover out of this reek-hole somewhere.

Kara hadn't been expecting for him to use the book of all things to block. Speed was a powerful ally until it was used against you and there was nothing the Woman of Steel could do when the book exploded in her face. "AHHHHH!" Except scream. The electricity flowed through her body and stunned her. Her body falling limp as it floated away.

That time soon came as Gaia swooped down and grabbed Superwoman's unconscious body.
“Ugh! You're heavier than you look.”
Gaia flew away from the action and put Superwoman down and hidden away safe somewhere on one of the rooftops before returning to the battle, unleashing a torrent of razor sharped leaves towards Robin's position.
Yes, that really did just happen.

Grima snickered as the sacrifice of the tome paid off.... and under the skull-helmet raised an eyebrow as he came under assault by leaves. Many of them were cast aside by the whirlwind sustaining his flight. Yet a few made it through, Grima simply raised his now empty, if partly numb; hand to shield his face. The Fell Dragon clicked his tongue in annoyance as a few razor leaves lodged themselves into his hand's flesh. A curt gale ripped them back out. Dragonskin had almost recharged before that little stunt, lucky girl managed to outspeed it enough for a blind spot.
Grima turned in the air as if spinning on his heel. Most of the wind in the area died down, focusing solely on surrounding Grima as he flew off toward the city... more specifically toward the faint signal is magic had for the Risen Chief. Rather Gaia gave chase or not he'd keep going before his last tome was under threat. He seemed to have started ignoring Gaia, but the Fell Dragon had a different sense for that.
The Risen Chief look up yet again, and finally found what he was looking for. The zombie fumbled in the dark briefly to find a ladder then remembered the problem with hands... He'd lost enough skin to make the sewers a special kind of hell on earth. Without thinking much about it, Risen Chief tore the melty hilt out of his right hand using the left. The index finer and thumb game off with it. For the time being the Risen Chief placed the 'spear' in his mouth and climbed toward the manhole cover.
He stopped to listen for cars or other threats just below the cover. It didn't sound like anyone was waiting to play Whack-A-Risen, so he promptly headbutted the manhole cover from it's position. It took a few bits of concrete with it as the Risen Chief lumbered out into an empty street. Gravity kept being a funny guy as the manhole cover soon fell back onto his head. It provoked little more but an annoyed grunt. Whatever, dignity wasn't a priority right now, just getting above ground and hoping it wouldn't take fire or acid to get him halfway clean. Oh, and to hope that Master Grima felt like giving him a ride.

Gaia watched the man fly off and decided against pursuing him for now. With any luck he was going to grab his lost minion and hightail it out of here. Anything beats going back and forth in the air for another hour. Gaia turned around and flew back to where Superwoman was resting, landing a few feet away from her on the roof and stepping off the platform. She knelt down in front of Superwoman and started to lightly smack her face with her hands.
“Hey! Wakey! Wakey! Now is no time for a nap.”
Truth be told, Gaia wasn't all that happy with Superwoman right now. She was handling the situation just fine until her addition to the battle just complicated matters, and now both Grima and Zira were gone. Who knows what they would be up to in the future. But that was the unfortunate life of a superhero.
“WAKE UP!”

Superwoman's eyes began to open making out blurs of red and black until her eyesight cleared up enough to see Gaia kneeling down next to her. Kara slowly moved her body to a sitting position; still aching from the electricity that hit her just a few moments prior. The Woman of Steel wasn't feeling so made of steel anymore. "W-what happened? Did he get away?"

Villains, exit stage left. With the lack of a pursuit Grima proceeded to take the course of action both Gaia and simple logic dictated. Robin meanwhile had other things on his mind. Note to selfs, Elwind class tomes have a life expectancy of roughly an hour and a half for flight and light combat. Make. More. Arcwinds. Grima ignored the thoughts as homed in on the Risen Chief. It didn't take long to sight the undead brute in the middle of the street, waving both arms in the air as if flagging down a car to hitchhike. Another whirlwind formed under the Risen Chief and launched him into the air with a "gwuh?" that sounded mildly worried. The wind latched around his midsection to drag the Risen Chief through the air behind Grima. As they neared the outskirts of the city, Grima dropped to the ground to conserve a bit of Elwind's energy... and is was a bit harder to track simple running.
The pair headed toward the forest region near town, at least near there is the last place they'd be seen. The Fell Dragon had a great deal of food for thought to refine both himself and his gathering followers.

“Nah, he's just away from keyboard right now,” Gaia said sarcastically, “I'm sure he'll be back.”
Gaia stood up and backed away a few steps to give Superwoman some breathing room.
“You shouldn't have gotten involved. I was handling it just fine. What happened to the other pyro?”
